This is basically my first gacha game, besides Warframe basically running the gacha model.
The music in this game is perfect with its Nier style choirs and techno dubstep, suits the theme and gets you hyped for the combat.
Unfortunately what puts me down is how much time you spend in menus or watching victory poses and watching screens seems to be far more than you are actually partaking in the action. This may be the 'gacha'' experience, butI think it can be done better. More game and less gacha. Missions should be longer and more fulfilling.
Ima sucker for tragic stories. Selena's story makes me wish the game could be more. I feel like the game has quite a number of gems which could be explored at a deeper level. However we have a gacha game where the puddle of new characters ever widens and barely deepens.
The boss fights seem to be the only significant gamplay quality.
This game has a small character pool for a gacha game, small enough you can keep up with the new characters with ease while building up your roster, unlike most Gachas. And keep in mind, many of the new constructs will be of an existing character, which does in fact mean deeper story for that character. Which is something quite rare for the Gacha genre. From what is avaliable later down the line (CN server) encounter length will increase, and soonish Selena will be given a new battlesuit (Non-transcendent) and therefore more story for her.
