Prop Hunt

You’ve been asking for it and this chaotic, fun-filled, and unusual mode has released on Call of Duty: Mobile on December 20th! The first iteration of this mode will see players transforming into presents and other holiday-themed items on the Winter Raid map.

As soon as we enter the New Year we’ll expand Prop Hunt to include both Standoff and Crash. That way you’ll have nearly a month to play the mode to your heart’s content. We’ll have challenges running alongside the mode throughout to provide you with more ways to grab some holiday gifts.

Winter Raid

While this map is the featured Prop Hunt mode, it is also releasing for Multiplayer on December 21st. We took it away at the start of Season 2, threw it into it a box filled with snow, holiday presents, and general holiday cheer, and brought back out a brand-new Raid for you all to experience. Try it out until January 16th!

Battle Royale – Holiday Parade

The parade is nearing its final destination and the time is almost here for you to take on the zombies en masse on the Circus grounds. Last week we gave out some tips through an Activision Blog on how to optimally tackle the parade. While tackling any of these multiple parades being a distraction, they also can give you unique rewards and items to help you gear up.

Outside of all of that, there are still additional items to find hidden throughout the map, whether it is candy canes, gingerbread men, or the snowy star that a few of you have discovered. These events are running up until December 29th, so make sure to check it all out while it is live.

Holiday Draw

Today we have a new lucky draw event available with a legendary AK117 – Holidays, our first ever weapon with a special death effect that ices over your enemies. You can also snag the character Nomad – Garden, the Holiday Magic Emote (bring a Christmas tree to life), and the uniquely snow fueled Frag Grenade – Snowman. Take advantage of that event until January 2nd 2020. Check out the AK117's death effect in action below:

Bug Reports

As we are entering the holidays the number of bug reports we are seeing are mostly coming in the form of the three issues: general crashing, connectivity problems, and FPS or stability issues on low end devices. For all of those, we are always happy to assist you however we can through our Player Support channels, but there is some basic information you can try to gather before-hand to help our teams assist you. Please follow these basic guidelines when reaching out:

Make sure you’ve performed basic troubleshooting first, like restarting your device, clearing your cache, or reinstalling the application (depending on the severity)

Have your device name and version readily available (ex. iPhone X version 10.3.4)

If the issue is related to purchases, make sure to have a proof of purchase screenshot, like of your order confirmation receipt, ready to show our teams

Android Controller Issues

For players using DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controllers on versions 9 & 10 of Android devices there is currently an issue with certain features or the controller itself not functioning. We are investigating these issues and improvements should be coming soon, but we cannot give a specific ETA on that.

Controller Support itself is still something new to Call of Duty: Mobile and there are plenty of optimizations and fixes on the way in future updates. Hang tight.

White Screen Issues

This is an Android-only issue that occurred around the launch of Season 2 and some players are still encountering it. The issue itself still be eliminated for anyone using the most current version of the game, but if for some reason you are still encountering it.

• Clear the cache on your device

○ Generally, this is found under the Settings option on your phone and it is an option for specific applications under the Storage section.

○ If you are using a guest account please make sure to link your account to Google Play, Facebook, or Line before doing this or you will lose your player data.

• Shut down and restart your device

• Uninstall and reinstall Call of Duty: Mobile
