Path to Nowhere Review: Is It Better than Arknight?

Path to Nowhere Review: Is It Better than Arknight?

Downloaded Path to Nowhere a few days ago and i decided to make a review on it.
Path to Nowhere is a Tower Defense type game where you can deploy up to 6 unique sinners to defend the chief which is yourself. When people said that this game is similar to Arknight, its because both games are the game type which is Tower Defense, but the gameplay is quite different

To begin, lets start with what are sinners. Sinners are people (and there's also a robot) who obtained a unique power and ability which on a certain point, they will become a Corruptor. As the chief, your job is to catch those sinners before they become a Corruptor which is harder to deal with. To "tame" those sinners, you use your shackles. These shackles are used to control the sinner's ability and with this device you can also connect to each other.
So lets continue to the game's graphics. The graphics in this game are pretty basic, nothing too special however, it did drain my battery a little too much. As for the game mechanics, i found out that sometimes its hard to move the right sinners at some point. I often moved the wrong sinners which makes me blunder pretty often

The game i quite generous as for now since they give a bunch of stamina daily and farmable crystals (for gacha pulls) from stories. However, once you have finished the main story, i dont see any way to obtain more crystals in the future so i hope the developer will think about this seriously

My final conclusion, Path to Nowhere is not really everyone's game. The genre of this game is full of crime and stuff and not everyone likes it but, i think that i like the strategy in this game compared to Arknight since you can move your sinners anywhere on the map literally. I enjoy the game for now, and i will continue playing it at least until Nikke release to Global hehe

I love Arknights and PtN and I don't want to compare the two of them to each other, but if I had to, Arknights is better, of course because it's been around for 2 years globally but that's not the main reason, I love Arknights because of its attention to details and references just like Istina's outfit, every 6★ has their own music, when it comes to music, Arknights is in the top compared to other gachas, they literally have their own music app. and how hard it is even having 6★ and many more I forgot to mention. about PtN, the sweep feature is a god send for me, that's what I want to have in Arknights also. the interrogation feature is fun, the art style is awesome (I love how they draw the gjrl's despair just from her face) the story is interesting, these are the only things I can say since it's just a less week old.

It's downloaded on my phone and I've been wanting to try it out but I'm already playing Echocalypse and honestly waiting for Nikke.

Path to Nowhere: A Gripping Tower Defense with a Dark Twist Hey there, fellow gamers! As a longtime tower defense enthusiast, I recently delved into Path to Nowhere, and let me tell you, it's unlike anything I've played before. Where Tower Defense Meets Dark Morality This game throws you into a dystopian world where you manage a squad of… well, let's just say they're not your typical heroes.  These powerful characters, called Sinners, teeter on the brink of corruption, and it's your job to keep them in check while using their unique abilities to defend your base.  The moral ambiguity and dark atmosphere make for a refreshing change from the usual bright and cheery tower defense titles.

Immerse yourself in this Lovecraftian world - Path to Nowhere
What is this game? Path to Nowhere is a SRPG featured by Real-time Tower Defense gameplay developed by AISNO Games. The battle system is a classic grid table where enemies will try to reach the Chief's location from different paths. You need to plan Sinner's spot wisely and destroy various enemies. THE STORY You will take on the role of the Chief, leading Sinners as a commander. Sinners are extremely powerful characters that can only be controlled through your shackle ability. Each character has unique skills that can deal more damage, block more units, heal others, and more.

Hmm I play both Arknights and this game on a daily basis I'm very neutral on this. The game though the story doesn't feel like a spreadsheet is good but the other aspects such as cosmetics and lack of strategy makes this game only for casuals and slightly above casuals. Music is good not great like some master piece. Rewards are extremely generous. Give it a try guys.
