The game, surprisingly (after all, initially you think that this is another soulless fake, immediately hanging this label due to the fact that it is extremely difficult to find something worthwhile in our time), as if it moves you into a movie that is so familiar and close to you that you begin to be related to the characters literally from the first inserts with diplomas. Especially colorful here are the characters whose motivation and becoming themselves cause such an ambiguous reaction that you begin to think not only about the plot, but about the people themselves in life, because each of us has gone a long way to becoming ourselves. Each of us saw and fought inside with himself under the sky of the world. Each of them fell into sins and got out on a sunny day of courtesy. Each of us is a bit of a creator, and a bit of a sinner..
What's great about the game:
— Prescribed characters, interactions with which can be fully revealed through an additional new interrogation mechanics, where they pour out their soul to you like in a psychologist's office, almost killing you along the way because of their motives, which you have to find out;
— The art of the characters is my homage, it's just aesthetics for the eyes, as if they massage me with the most pleasant fantasies;
— The style of the game itself also delivers, you don't get tired, but on the contrary, you get more and more imbued with time;
— Voice acting perfectly conveys the spirit of everyone;
— For the first time I met a plot from this category of games, from which I do not want to skip it in the first second, as it was in Arknight, where there are tons of text, and emotions and meaning with the disclosure of characters are almost zero – on the contrary, every replica is part of the work and leads to something, revealing either a character, or a plot piece by piece, bringing its own speck into the full picture.
What's terrible:
— There is not enough energy for development, you literally may not have enough energy to complete quests, because you spend all your energy on obtaining resources.
In general, the game turned out to be unique, interesting, as if it was not a game at all, but a full-fledged book in which you can fulfill your role.
Sometimes when passing through you wonder if those are the sinners who went through hell just to survive in this world..
In addition, I will leave a couple of character screenshots and some moments from the passage.
Not sure how your comment with only 20+ like surfaced compared to other ones with more amount of likes, but anyway, I agree & disagree with you at the same time. Let's analyse the two games, their gameplay type, models and genre first. Path To Nowhere is a Tower Defense RPG as well as Arknights. However, PTN is more diverse having better graphics and has more difficult challenges than that of AK with average gameplay. AK 3D gameplay character models are chibi while in contrast the gameplay 3D models of characters retained the original life size of characters stating consistent to their 2D model art. But overall, I'm no fan of tower defense RPG but I will admit that PTN made me play the game due to it standing out different in its genre. Furthermore, what fascinated me the most about PTN is the appealing character design and a lot of them being "mature" hinting that it's definitely an RPG intended for the adult audience such as myself. On the other hand, AK 3D models are all chibi not staying to consistent to 2D model of life. What's worse is that most of AK characters are loli meaning it's an RPG intended for the younger audience group which is of course a turn off for me personally. Then again, at the end of the day, if we compare the two based on the events and generous giveaways by developers, AK takes the cake easy on this one which is a vital factor for me. I wouldn't spend my money in an online game where the devs just want your money instead of helping the product's user base prosper naturally through hard work & play with satisfied heart. And yeah, the gacha rates in PTN isn't very good, at least not as good as that in AK ~

Maybe it's because my review is not for sale, not trying to please everyone by putting candy in their mouth, drowning out attention to the product, or perhaps the sun and luck are on my side today. Well, I don’t look for gacha in games, I either play for the sake of the plot and enjoy the game itself, or I don’t play a gacha game at all, because a gacha without a soul behind itself does not make sense (this would be a pure casino). Thank you for your attention 🩵

i tried playing Arknights a lot of times but most of the time is just stop i just can't get into it just by looking at the character list it's too many it gets overwhelming as a new player so many teams to choose from and the pity is not very charming I just can't find it's charm even though i tried and tried to give it a chance maybe i'll like it this time but it's just not for me

seems like someone fail to get the operator they want lol

I got the operators I wanted, but as I mentioned earlier, the story of only one of the five was not bad, and the visual without an interesting story is empty.
