In the following four parts, I will present to you a total of twenty Pokémon and their corresponding sources of inspiration. 1.Dragalge/leafy seadragon (Phycodurus eques) This aquatic character draws inspiration from the leafy seadragon (Phycodurus eques), a marine fish species found near the Australian coast. While there is a strong resemblance, there are some notable differences. Unlike the Pokémon, which can spray a highly corrosive poison, sea dragons are completely harmless and peaceful. Instead, they rely on their intricate camouflage to evade predators by blending seamlessly with floating seaweed.
