What is this game?

Signalis is a classic survival horror experience with a unique aesthetic, full of melancholic mystery. Investigate a dark secret, solve puzzles, fight off nightmarish creatures and navigate dystopian, surreal retrotech worlds.

What’s it about?

In Signalis you get to play as a Replika named Elster who wakes up from cryo sleep on a desolated spaceship. You'll travel across a ship where you'll encounter others like yourself and foreign lifeforms. Its going to take a lot of brain power to get through this journey for sure but the ship’s goal was to find planets that were habitable to eventually migrate to them.

I played Signalis on PC but you can also play on Xbox and Playstation

How much did you play?

I played about 3 hours worth of the game. That's enough to see the difficulty of the game especially if you don't pay attention.

What’s awesome about this game?

Signalis does an amazing job at making sure the player has to be engaged because if your not you'll easily miss something. The suspense and quiet noises that take place really make you feel like your actually experiencing what the main protagonist is going through. The 3D pixel style is also extremely well done and the constant screen changes always keeps you on your toes on a game that a first glance could seem rather slow. oh and we can forget you actually get the fight back in this adventure.

What sucks about this game?

The biggest thing for me was simply movement, i felt like at times the movement was a little clunky and not polished. The only other thing is this game is not beginner friendly for those new to the genre you really have to pay attention like I mentioned before.

Should I play this game?

If you love horror and puzzles with some combat this is absolutely the game for you. It delivers exactly what it was intending to so Yes I would say you should give Signalis a try for youself!
