Genshin Impact 3.2 features Nahida, Layla, Scaramouche quest, new bosses, and more

Genshin Impact version 3.2 is nearly here, Travelers. The patch arrives on November 2, 2022, at 5 PM PDT/ 8 PM EST. With the patch’s debut comes one of the most awaited arrivals, the five-star Dendro character and Sumeru’s Archon of Wisdom, Nahida, as well as the four-star Cryo sword user, Layla. But that’s not all, though. Genshin Impact 3.2 brings new questlines, missions, events, and of course, more Scaramouche content!

So what’s new? Well, first off, there’ll be two phases of limited-time character banners during Genshin Impact 3.2. The first phase will feature Nahida as well as Yoimiya. Don’t worry if you haven’t farmed enough Primogems for Nahida yet. Nahida and Yoimiya’s banners will be around for the next two weeks, ending on November 18, 2022. After that, Layla, Yae Miko, and Childe will be featured in the second phase of character banners, all until December 7, 2022. Genshin Impact version 3.3 should debut sometime in early December, a couple of weeks after Layla’s arrival.

Alongside these characters, Genshin Impact 3.2 will also feature some interesting quests and exclusive events and rewards. It’s been a long while since Travelers had the chance to encounter Scaramouche again, especially after Inazuma’s launch in Genshin Impact last year. That said, more information and content about the Fatui Harbinger will arrive in Genshin Impact 3.2.

The latest major quest coming to Genshin Impact is “Act V: Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises,” which will dive into the stories between Nahida and Scaramouche. Travelers will get to learn a little more about the Archon of Wisdom while also supposedly protecting and saving her from the conniving Fatui Harbinger, Scaramouche. The questline will feature tons of dialogue between the Traveler and Nahida, as well as some discussion with Scaramouche.

HoYoverse recently teased some of the gameplay, and it seems Travelers will face Scaramouche in an entirely new and stronger form. Scaramouche seems to have gained the power of an Archon, and with this strength, the Fatui Harbinger has created the ultimate form of destruction, a gigantic mech robot called the Balladeer.

The Balladeer will also be featured as one of Sumeru’s newest bosses too. However, it’ll probably only be unlockable for Travelers after finishing Genshin Impact 3.2’s questline involving Nahida and Scaramouche, similar to that of the Signora questline and Domain.

Alongside the Balladeer, Travelers will also get to fight the final elemental cube in Teyvat, the Dendro Hypostasis. Like other elemental Hypostases, the Dendro Hypostasis can be found in the open world, specifically in Sumeru.

However, if you’re not particularly interested in fighting new bosses and farming resources, maybe other rewards like Mora or Primogems might suit your tastes. Genshin Impact 3.2 will feature four new upcoming events Travelers can partake in.

Fabulous Fungus Frenzy is one of the first events Travelers will get to relish. The event essentially allows Travelers to sneak behind innocent roaming fungus and catch them, then train them to fight other fungi. This event will provide rewards like Hero’s Wit, Primogems, Crown of Insight, and even a chance to acquire the four-star Electro character, Dori.

Another upcoming event is Adventurer’s Trials. This is a co-op support event that functions similarly to other trial events, but basically, Travelers will need to complete a certain set of missions during a set time limit. Adventurer’s Trials will reward Primogems, Talent Level-Up Materials, Weapon Enhancement Materials, Mora, and other goodies.

If you’ve been interested in slaying the Dendro Hypostasis, well, now’s your chance during Genshin Impact 3.2’s Hypostatic Symphony: Dissonant Verse. Travelers will need to defeat various Hypostases across Domains within the event, either alone or with friends. Hypostatic Symphony: Dissonant Verse will reward Travelers Mystic Enchantment Ores, Mora, Primogems, and more.

Lastly, the fourth and final event coming with Genshin Impact 3.2 is Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens: Greenery Chapter. This event allows Travelers to live their wildest dreams of being top-notch photographers. Travelers will need to capture some peaceful areas across Sumeru using a camera. Although the rewards for this event are uncertain, it’ll probably be similar to that of other events happening during Genshin Impact 3.2.
