Have you noticed how Tencent has been releasing all of those "toon" games recently? They probably forgot how to make hyper-realistic MMO games. At least that is what you might think if this game didn't slap you in the face with a reminder that they can make whatever they want to make.

Once you get past the intro, there is a slight decrease in the intensity of the game. That is, of course, after you see how walking through a field causes a perfect ripple in the grass. It's after you see how each skill has a vibrant, impressive effect. It's after each dialog looks like it was a cutscene that is somehow playing behind the text. It's too late. You're hooked. A step down to increase the size of the world is worth it because it will be worth the wait until that next story scene.

The reality is that most MMOs are the same once you rip them open. This is what makes the wrapping so important, so it is only fitting that many of the outfits from this era had bows. It doesn't even seem to matter if it's another pair of socks. You'll have to excuse the Christmas analogy, but it is the perfect time for it.
