The problem is the tutorial is forced and you must complete it before you can really jump into action. The tutorial is skill tasks you must complete in order to unlock the full experience. Once you get through the tutorial though the real fun begins. The game features many different game modes and a very in-depth team building system. Your main focus will be unlocking new soccer players and upgrading the players you already have.
You have complete customization from assigning players to certain positions, to customizing your teams home and away jerseys. This really makes it feel like it's your unique team that you can build anyway you want. The gameplay is super smooth at 60fps and the soccer stadiums you play in give that authentic soccer feel. The game has buttons on the right side that let you shoot, pass, sprint/skill and finally through pass or lob pass. My favorite however is on defense when you can use the slide tackle button to take out your opponent and send them flying.
The PVP game modes are vast and bring enjoyment for anyone. The first pvp mode is called VS Attack and by far my favorite. This mode focuses on the constant excitement of scoring and simulates the boring middle part. Every time your team gets the ball near your opponent's goalie, it immediately gives you control to try and score. This goes back and forth between you and your opponent until time runs out. It's a fast PVP mode great for someone who wants quick action on limited time. If you want the full-length experience of a match, they have that to with full matches against live players as well.
You can also have private matches against friends which is a feature most games lack. Aside from the full experience the game also has a manager mode so you can play tactically as a coach by making decisions and choices then watch as the game plays out. FIFA World Cup 2022 offers both the real live action gameplay along with an RPG element of building out your dream team. A must play for any soccer lover.
