If you happen to be one active member of our official TapTap Discord server, it’s highly likely that you already had a word or two with this RandomGuy we’re talking about today. In the Level Up Event which just ended a few days ago, RandomGuy, or Zuh, nailed the contest and won himself an exclusive "Titanium Keyboard" role for being the most active member of the community. I took the post title "In space, no one can hear you meow" from Zuh’s Discord profile status, which, as he kindly explained, is based on the Alien franchise.
"I’ve played like over 450+ games on mobile, so really a gaming maniac is apparently a title I have." Every time when Zuh joined the talk, he was either sending out cat memes, or chatting about games. He also posts long reviews on TapTap and I was totally amazed by his efforts when I read this nearly professional review on Apex Legends.
When Zuh was still a kid and playing video games was not yet a common practice in the place where he grew up, he got connected to the world of gaming for the first time through the brick game, a console-like gaming machine with quite a few interesting mini-games. "It looked pretty futuristic to me," he laughed. There’s also an anecdote behind Zuh’s first official encounter with games. Subway Surfers is the first mobile game he downloaded, with his uncle’s Internet. "My uncle was visiting and I secretly downloaded the game using his Internet. Just like a ninja."
"I play all types of games but puzzle games," Zuh revealed, "I just cannot think outside of the box when I solve the puzzles." But he does have some special preference for story-rich games, "I love story-based games. Anything that has a story behind it." Speaking of whether he has a favorite game, Zuh immediately told me the answer, "Spartan: Total Warrior. I played it on PS2. It’s very fancy and is the best game ever made." Spartan: Total Warrior is the first PS2 he played after only playing mobile games for a long time, and it was like a whole new world to Zuh. Also, to my pleasant surprise, Zuh is quite into indie games and feels that more credit should be given to those indie game studios. He listed Unheard as his favorite mobile game and also recommended ICEY to me.
In addition to actually playing games, Zuh seems to have various means to fill up his free time. He loves writing things and often writes Sci-fi stories, with self-designed logos for his own works. Zuh is also an active content contributor to the very classic Dungeons & Dragons and does fan-made map designing as well. "I love it and hate it," Zuh showed me a map he designed, "it took me 4 months to finish this one."

Perhaps the most interesting thing I’ve heard from Zuh is that he’s actually a huge fan of discovering the lore of the PUBG universe. "Self-proclaimed PUBG Lore Master" — that’s what he calls himself in his Twitter bio (@RandomGuyThe1st). "No one really believes it, but there’s a very deep storyline inside PUBG." Zuh spent countless hours discussing the stories in PUBG with Dusk (check out this PlayerEncounters if you’re not sure who he is, and btw, these two are good buddies). Just literally couldn’t believe my eyes when he showed me a detailed mind map made out of his brainstorming. "Every time I see a new map in PUBG, I just cannot help but think, why would this map exist? What’s the story behind it?"
I found it interesting while a bit challenging (in a positive way) to chat with RandomGuy (Zuh), cause the chat is always fast-faced, wide in range, and invites you to think, of course about games. And Interestingly enough, every time we wanted to talk about something outside of gaming, the topic would inevitably fall back on games. "We move away from games and always come back to games. Just can’t escape from them." Zuh laughed at the end of the interview. I’ll say it sounds not bad to me.
