A Nightmare inducing game
3K View2022-11-14Well, Anglerfish is really a befitting name for this game, not as terrifying as the real thing but very mind numbing if you ask me.
It was nothing short of what I was expecting heading into this game knowing this is the same team that did "The ER" (another Interesting game to say the least), but it still managed to go over my head, take a detour to the shop, buy me a drink, then rip my head off because I was foulish enough to take it. That's pretty much what I felt playing this game since I was foolish enough to think just for a secound this might just be a funny little game, until I went to the bathroom and tried to pick up a girl then ending up without a head on my shoulders.
Just warning you, that's the kind of game you're heading into. And it really doesn't stop with the mad things, it only gets... better? Yeah, let's just say it gets better the further you go into this game.
The graphics? Nothing special.
The game mechanics? Very clunky.
Story? God forbid.
Gameplay? You might need to see a therapist after.
It's really just that type of game. And if this game wasn't enough, if you put a hidden code on one of the doors a little further into the game, you also get to experience a little trauma from "The ER" if you haven't played it yet. Just awesome!
So if you look for a game to play at 3 am in the dark, and you want a dog to question your meaning in life, then having a "vampire?" ask you to marry it after it rips your head off , and feel like god knows what drug you're on, this might just be the game for you!

This game looks good, it's a scary game and it looks like you can't stop screaming while playing it.
I've played other versions of it too but I think it's unique and I like it. I love how different the atmosphere looks for this game compared to the others.
It really gonna give it a unique identity among the other games in the series.

Really good game with really good art. I love how the final character that you don't talk to much breaks the fourth wall and reveals you real name from your computer files. I freaking love this game and the fact that I got it on Epic Games for free is amazing. It is a very graphic game with images of suicide, abuse, and death so please be aware.
All in all, I really liked playing this game and was able to complete it in only 2 and a half hours of playtime.

Nothing interesting horror game.
The voice of the main character does not have any feelings, and it is difficult for the player to immerse in it. The game gives too strong hints, more like a cheat guides than the first-person view.
The deciphering part is too easy. There is a lack of logic between all the puzzles, and the whole process is too short.
The horror atmosphere is like a Halloween store, no necessary to try. Suitable for new players maybe.
