Play as either the tactical soldier on missions given by various contacts to enter the dark zone to complete their tasks while surviving against players and rogue npc's that all want you dead. Or infiltrate the Dark Zone dressed as a Rogue NPC and complete other tasks which require you to be hidden as a Rogue NPC faction. But watch out for the boss NPC's, as they will recognize your disguise right away. Deal with a realistic damage system, and having to manage your equipment before embarking on a mission, trying your best to survive so you don't lose your precious gear. Can you survive the Dark Zone?

If you die in a match, you'll lose any items that you had equipped or looted during that match. So, farming up loot is essential, especially if you want to get higher tiered items in more challenging zones.
