This has been a game people have been waiting for after playing the very successful first installment of the game for the PS4 & PS5 but, now the first one is available for PC/Steam!
We are finally getting to the conclusion of " God of War " for Kratos. So no spoilers about the ending just talking about my experience so far looking at the game and its characters. After playing the first one and learning more things about Artemis there are more and more questions that need to be answered will this be Krato's last run fighting against the gods and retiring the blades of Chaos?
After a while of playing this, I see Artemis went from a kid that was all about rage and taking down his enemies to someone that now has sort of a clear head, goal focused, and didn't matter about what consequences come afterward.
Little by little, he was turning into Kratos when it come to how he was in the first game not caring about what happened after his choices. Slowly after a while, Kratos continues to help his son stay off the path that will lead him down the same direction...the path of bloodshed and chaos...
Kratos may not sometimes understand Artemis especially with wanting to find out more about something that may have dire consequences but he continues to teach him to remember his teaching and be careful.
There are even moments throughout the game when you see Artemis not tell his father what he is doing and you start thinking "it's never a smart thing to lie to Kratos".
Honestly, I greatly enjoyed this game with great storytelling, seeing Artemis continue to grow and learn from Kratos, even when in certain situations probably wasn't his best mistake but everyone has to learn in some way...even if it is life-threatening
Seeing the overall level design, the different ways you see the Nordic Gods of this world, and seeing the God of Thor have his full-on rage against you.
If you haven't played God of War before they do have a collection of the entire series which I very much recommend getting!
