Games worth discovering
A daily side quest that I actually enjoy!
10K View2022-11-15Personally my opinion is that Aether Gazer is a great side game. AG has shitpost meme events where you play subway surfers with Hermes, or space invaders with Hela, or even fishing for tradable jpegs. It's much more enjoyable opening the game every day and seeing what new minigame or puzzle there is to try than farming event bosses every day like in other gachas.
Since the events and game modes are easy there also isn't much pressure to pull unless you like a character's design or gameplay. The only competitive or difficult (more tedious than difficult) aspect of the game is the roguelike mode that uses preset characters and there is no ranking rewards for that so you can almost completely ignore it outside of a quick low difficulty run for weekly missions. I think the game is performing and plays just fine for what they intended it to be, another game for the casual Azur Lane audience (Look it up if you don't know!).

This is honestly a good game!
I play it since day one and well, I was enough lucky to get everytime (or most of the time except Skadi) the characters I wanted. The last update ruined a bit the graphic quality and anti aliasing, but I hope devs will fix this :/
In general is a real good game, with different curves of challenge that you choose. Gacha system is enough good and generous. The combat system is nice and it works well.

Aether Gazer in my own words is a an instanced action combat RPG gacha game and can be compared with the likes of Punishing Grey Raven and Honkai Impact 3rd. The game is really optimized for Android and plays decently on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. This game has fast loading screens and dailies are easily done in less than 15 minutes. Combat feels great you don't need the best characters to enjoy the game there so far isn't a lack of things to do despite there being energy in this game. There's is English dub which is greatly appreciated and story is at the very least okay. It's a good story but nothing too exciting it's at least better than PGR's. Gacha and pity system are great as well.

First impression on Aether Gazer after three days of playing
Well, the game is pretty good. It's well optimised unlike some other games. Gacha is also pretty good. The rewards are best and some levels are pretty challenging too. In other words, it's a pretty well balanced game and of course it's f2p friendly. (Btw I liked the gameplay style of Jinwu. Just soar and attack. Still waiting for Wuthering Waves though. May 21st, come fast!)
