If you like Survival RPG genre and looking for something new this Indie survival game will fill your needs. It have its own ideas and mechanics, good-looking pixel style graphics and interesting gameplay, which is more beginner-friendly, but can become more hardcore as you play the game.

Demon Survival Roguelite RPG is a very fun and f2p friendly experience. You will go through different stages with increasing difficulty unlocking new skill in the process. This survival game is a little bit different from others. First of all you have stages, and you need to play it a little bit to unlock survival mode. Then you main first attack is melee and you will have to get close to the enemies in order to take them out.

All this together gives you a bit more hardcore experience for the first few stages before you get used to the controls. It stand well with other major games of this genre: Magic Survival and Vampire Survivors, taking its own place with unique features it have.

Game currently have 2 game modes: Map (story/ campaign) and Survival. At first only map mode will be available and you will have to go through several stages of increasing difficulty, unlocking your full potential. As you progress you will get new enemies, new skills and do some upgrades for your gear. But whats most important is that you will get used to the controls and feel more comfortable playing the game.

As you complete stages you will get new ranks, that will unlock new spells for you. And at some point you will unlock survival mode, where you can unleash you skills and try to survive as long as possible to the unlimited waves of enemies.

Combat in Demon Survival is similar to other Survival games. You start weak with just one attack and as you kill enemies they will drop exp. When you collect that exp and level up you can select a random skill that will most likely help you to kill enemies easier. And just like that your goal will be trying to grow fast enough to be able withstand increasing amount of enemies.

As for the types of the attacks and skills, this mobile game have one interesting feature. Your main attack is melee sword attack, so you will have to get close and personal to the enemies. It requires some mastering, but after some time you will get used to it.

Moreover you can use spells, that allow you to do AOE and ranged attacks, making your life easier. Overall you will still have plenty of close-range abilities, so getting close to the enemy will be a must for the most time.

There are different types of enemies in the game, and they range in their appearance, movement speed, attack and hp. You gotta learn their behavior in order to properly counter their abilities.

There are also bosses with unique attack abilities and increased amount of health. Usually they appear after some time, so its a good idea to get enough exp by the time boss appears and be ready for it.

Demon Survival is a really solid experience and very refreshing one without required microtransacrions. Its rare to find a truly f2p-friendly game on the mobile market those days, which is not plagued by ads and have interesting gameplay. I strongly recommend to try it, I consider it a hidden gem and glad that I found it.
