1K View2022-11-19I adore the game Data Wing so so much. You race as a data wing in this arcade game (a triangle that delivers information inside a mobile phone). BUT, it delivers a compelling story in an unexpected way. It is utterly mind-blowing to go through this. Some keywords: AI, secret user files, a story of a young girl.
Story aside, the gameplay and graphics are nice. I will not spoil the fun here, so go give it a try!

Well, it probably is a racing game. After all, most of the tasks involve racing. But I don’t want to define it simply as a racing game. It’s more than that.

Data Wing - a stylish racer with a plot twist
Data Wing is definitely THE MOST unique racing games that I've played. It appears to be an arcade style racing game with really chill soundtrack at first. But at its core, the game is wrapped with a good story. If you are into the 'artificial intelligence and consciousness' stuff, you will like this.

Just Because a Game Has Style Doesn’t Mean It Must Lack Substance - Data Wing Review
If you took one look at some of the screens I’ve posted here from Data Wing, the arcade racing game from developer Dan Vogt, and assumed this was just one of those cool, flashy score chase games and nothing more, I would totally understand. It’s got all the telltale signs: the neon color palette, the effortlessly cool club music soundtrack, the barely-there user interface, and the simplistic, two-button control layout. It’s got to be one of those indie games that’s all about looking good and not so much about saying anything, right?
