Doki Doki Literature club is a pretty unique gaming experience. The protagonist is ultimately only there to give a presence inside the game☺️, but the person who will experience real hell in the literature club is us, the player😈. The game plays with our expectations, our emotions, and our involvement in the story. It makes us question the nature of the game, of free will, and of reality. I was surprised and shocked by the many twists and turns and shocking scenes in the game 🤯. The game does not hesitate to break the fourth wall, modify the game files, address us directly, or make impossible choices. The game also makes us realize that our actions have consequences, sometimes irreversible, and that we are not masters of our destiny.
