Paper Bride 3 Unresolved love is the 4th installment in this traditional Chinese horror puzzle game. It is the 3rd game in the paper bride series and continues to bring the eerie atmosphere to puzzle games. The graphics are a flat 2D picture like style, also referred to as paper style graphics. The game also does feature some simple animations as well. You will encounter jump scares, but the scariest part is just simply the disturbing images that are seen. These images range from creepy looking dolls to people wearing very unusual masks. Even if you're not a fan of puzzle games the storyline draws your attention in and has you wanting more.

The main objective of the game is for you to click on objects of interest and interact with them. You will be solving puzzles both simple and complex. The problem is that some of the clues you are given for puzzles makes completely no sense. Some puzzles are balanced perfectly and are challenging but not overly difficult. While others can have you stumped for 30+ minutes. This goes hand in hand with the way the game is monetized though. If you ever get stuck on a puzzle you can activate the hint button. In order to do this though you will need gold coins. These coins can be bought with real money of acquired by watching an advertisement. Neither of these are necessary though because all the puzzle solutions can be found online as many people have uploaded videos showing all the puzzle solutions.

The audio in the game is done extremely well. It adds to the mysterious and horror feeling atmosphere. The characters dialogue is also done in a way that really brings life to them individually. You learn about them and get attached to them. Each chapter leaves you with a cliff hanger wanting more. The ending is not what you expect and brings a sudden sadness into the game. This is a great mood change as most of the game brings you a more freighting feeling. All in all, it is a great game that I recommend to any puzzle lover. Even if you don't enjoy puzzles the game is worth checking out strictly just for the lore.
