Then this game might be what you are looking for! Absolutely fun when played with a friend in local multiplayer, and still ok to be played alone (and supported by an automatic gun instead of a second player).
A roguelite game where you have to upgrade your ship and restore a small island (and its lighthouse) to its former glory. Bring back the missing people who lived there, transfer your ship into a fearsome battleship.

- Very good in local 2-player mode - succeed or fail together
- Polished and good looking
- Never boring - a few mistakes and your ship sinks

- The game is not easy, casual players might be overwhelmed by the fast and brutal combat

A great roguelite game where you can sail the seas with your friends - Ship of Fools Quick Review
Ship of Fools is the perfect lighthearted roguelite about voyaging the ocean with friends or occasionally alone. Similar to games like Overcooked, cooperative play is key to success here. Players must shuffle around the ship, delivering supplies to stock their cannons and repairing the deck to prevent the ship from sinking.
THE STORY
In Ship of Fools, I embarked on an adventure to save the world from the almighty Aquapocalypse, a catastrophic event caused by a sea beast approaching the shores of my characterβs lighthouse. I needed to jump aboard the Stormstrider and voyage across the sea while manning cannons and slapping away monsters with an oar, all to hopefully reach and defeat the terrifying beast causing all this chaos.

Ship of Fools - a fantastic new roguelite for 2 players
Our ship has sunk and the sea washes us back to our island. Again. Well, it is a roguelite action game, so every run is supposed to end where it started... at the Great Lighthouse. It is situated on a tiny island, sourrounded by sea monsters and inhabited by just a few people. Most things on this island are destroyed and abandoned. Your job, of course, is to rebuild it to its former glory, to bring back the missing population, rebuild the infrastructure while upgrading your warship.

If you're into world war and battleships this game is definitely for you one of my favorite games so far for offline two-player games
