Great gameplay, but needs some improvement

Don't get me wrong, this game has beautiful graphics and simplistic gameplay. It's pretty similar to a lot of building/crafting games but it doesn't have the "energy" system. The only thing I don't know if I hate or like is the amount of time that map resources regenerate. I like it because it gives a reason for players to rest and not speedrun the whole game. I hate it because I want to speedrun the whole game.
