Fantastic Tower-Defense with Resource Management
7K View2022-11-25I ran into Mindustry by chance a few years ago, and it has come a long way since then. At its core, Mindustry is a Tower Defence with resource management elements like Factorio.
The gameplay is pretty simple: Enemies attack you in waves, and you have to defend your base while maintaining the resources, for example, ammo for your turrets. This is, however, the bare minimum. There's also Attack mode in which the enemy base is also present on the map, and you compete for resources and destroy each other by building units that attack each other. Lastly, an expansive multiplayer with many custom servers brings varied gameplay to the table. There is also a map editor where you can create your maps and thousands of mods since the game is open source.
All this, and the game is entirely free. No in-app purchases and no ads, which makes it more impressive. DO consider buying it on steam to support development if you can, though.
If you love tower defence games, it is a must-play, and if you love management simulators, you can not skip it.
It is a solid 10/10.

A tower defense game that you will get addicted to play
The tutorial of the game is easy enough to understand, then when you go to your first mission you will have to build your road to make the enemies hit your base much more difficult because of the towers that you created. The graphics of the game is quite nice and you don't have to think much about what to upgrade because it is random. The road is also random but in a good way, easy enough to overcome a long wave of enemies. You have to make some time when playing this game because it is 40 waves!

A defense tower game that is quite good; needs a bit of brain power LOL
A tower defense game that is good and at the same time very addicting for every level you conquer there is a way to upgrade a certain passive or active skill permanently.
Graphics are not bad it shines on their gameplay and strategy as you progress on every level.
The audio is nice but needs a bit of upbeat background music sometimes lol.
I would like to recommend the game if you like this kind of genre.

Colorful and the characters are designed beautifully.
The animation and graphics are great! Areas you can distinguish which is which and the UI is not that overwhelming.
The tutorial is a great detailed explanation of what you are doing. The audio is good too, boss fights are challenging in a good way. I would like to recommend the game.
