Astronite is a PC semi-hardcore indie space platformer where you will need to survive on an alien planet after a crash. All your tools will be stripped from you, so you will have to start from the scratch.
You can use keyboard or a controller. If you use keyboard - it will be only keyboard, no mouse. Key binding feels unusual, so require some time to get used to. If you will decide to go with a controller though you will feel comfortable straight from the start.
Getting your gun and tools back will be your priority. At first you should just avoid enemies and get to the point where you will get your gun back. Jumping around and avoiding obstacles shouldnt be much of a problem for most players. There are also save points, that are scarcely distributed through the map.
Once you get to the point where you obtain your weapon you will face your first boss. The boss fight is fun, it have some move patterns that should be learned and countered just like in Dark Souls. Of course its not as hardcore and hard, but still challenging.
Overall Astronite seem like a fun game to play, specifically for the people who like platformer genre. You will have a lot of challenges to overcome, and enemies to conquer. Boss fights are fun, gameplay feels smooth. The only drawback are keyboard controls. Playing with a controller feels so much easier and comfortable. The game recommends the same.
