You have to be in the select nordic regions to purchase! I have figured out work around to be able to purchase outside of these regions.. to achieve this I created a Denmark apple ID without a payment method attached to it,downloaded DBD on my iPad, bought a DKK currency appstore card online, added the funds to my wallet. After this step is done open DBD on iPad, and log into your account(mine is hooked up to my Google account on my android device), from there you will have all your progress on the Ipad(or iphone), using the funds you added you can purchase characters etc via the apple device, and yes the characters and such do transfer between devices as long as its backed up to Facebook or google
