last hit to get gold yes . And you need to go back to fountain to buy items. No warding system but there's some spot on the map where you step on a thing and i'll act as a ward to give you vision . Just go on youtube and search some info there , there's a lot of info there

They make it more easier to last hit creeps by turning the their lifebar white, if it becomes white that means a basic attact will kill it
