881 View2022-12-05So I played about 10 games and I have to ask, it that it? You only have one game mode? Seriously? Imagine if in Hearthstone the only thing you could play is quick games...no campaign, no playing VS A.I...the gameplay itself isn't terrible, although some of the "zones" are way too random (25% chance to destroy cards deployed in the zone, or a zone that randomize the place of the cards on the "table")...the cards I got so far aren't anything special, just your typical card game effects...there's literally nothing out of the ordinary about this game...and some people think of it as a "trendsetter"... I hope that's not the case, because all this game sets is a low standard for what you can get away with in a game-releasing almost no content other than playing other people....

All hype, just a basic turn-based card game at heart
There's a lot of flash and show out there in the gaming world. Countless games dazzle with their cool and edgy styles. But at the end of the day, beneath the gloss and hype, many are essentially just turn-based card games. So, don't let flashy aesthetics bowl you over. The crux is to determine whether you truly enjoy the gameplay mechanics underneath it all. Focus on that, not the glitter.

Ok so I feel like the game has a lot of promise to it. It's unique in the sense that the gameplay is very unique and it's a great time killer. The only factions as of now (to my knowledge) are orcs, elves, dwarves, goblins, and humans. Once you start building your army you basically have to build around whatever tribe you select from your first card. I have a ton of gold and a ton of gems just from playing the game but the only reason I have so much is because I've never spent any on anything because there is ultimately nothing to spend them on lol it's fun at first but it does get repetitive and monotonous after you start ranking up. You can certainly see there is a very unbalanced meta rather quickly. It's a good start and could be a lot more fun with some more changes and slight improvements and some more cards. Overall enjoyable and even as is I would recommend if you enjoy Hearthstone or eternal type games.

If Mtg is chess and hearthstone is checkers, this game is players taking turns throwing chess pieces at eachother.
The game is as simple as HS, but doesn't feel fun to play:
-Creatures usually don't live more than 1 turn.
-Two types of attack doesn't make the game much more complex, but rather frustrating and annoying.
-Going second feels like a big disadvantage.
-Complex interactions and combos are rare and quickly get lost in the meat grinder
