I recently tried the game Star Numbers and found out this is actually a math game that I would never play in my life. I'm not exactly a math fan and playing a game involving math would not be something I dream of doing.
Gameplay wise this game is simple. You just solve the math problems that show up, and earn gems. What you can do with these gems is beyond me, I didn't find any gem store or any way to spend them, they just accumulate while you play. The games layout is messy and overlaps each other many times while trying to input the correct numbers, which makes things difficult at times to put the right answer. There's not much else to the game after that. Just repeat the same thing over and over with the maths problems progressively getting more difficult as you complete the levels. According to the store page, 15 minutes a day of this will help your brain, so perhaps this is good for parents to force their kids to play. Other than that, I'm not quite sure who this is for. Unless you are a die hard math lover. Then this could be for you.
Visually there isn't much to say. The background has a night sky with stars glittering, and the layout overlapping into the stars doesn't give off a peaceful feeling at all. The graphics are minimal at best, this is mainly just to practice some math skills, nothing more.
Overall I'd say that this is not the game for me, I wouldn't even really call this a game. This is just a math program to help your kids practice math daily. Perfect for parents to give to their kids, and that's about it. Or maybe if you need to refresh your math skills for whatever reason.

I can see that the developer wanted to make a casual puzzle game, but it looks more like an educational app to me. The levels in the game are exactly math problems, just in a different format.
I admit that these little stars are cute, however I hate math. In my opinion, this game is a little boring. If you like math very much, you can have a try.

Star Numbers... A game that most kids and adults will probably not want to play. This game, if it can be called a game, is just a math problem game. Each puzzle is a series of new match problems for you to solve. This game is meant to get your brain buzzing after just 15 minutes of gameplay according to the site, but while that may be true. The overlapping numbers and layouts while trying to choose the correct numbers can get pretty infuriating. I'm not sure why this is happening, but the layout seems messy and not relaxing at all. I'm not a fan of maths so I'd never play this, but combine that with the horrible layout issues and yeah. This definitely needs a bit of work to get better.

Best game to train your math skills
Good thing I found this app on time. I was thinking of a better way how I could teach my son to learn mathematics and enjoy it at the same time. Well, numbers can give you such a headache if you don't formulate a technique for it. All you have to do is train your brain.
So I had my son try this game. At first, he was a little confused, but good thing there were instructions included in the game. I was also flustered about the mechanics because of the creative placement of each number in the game.
