Pokémon Scarlet and Violet sold over 10 million copies in the first three days after their release. But many players have been unsatisfied with the frequent framerate issues and bugs. On December 1st, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company apologized to players.
We have collected some video clips of the funniest bugs, and in some cases, they have become part of the pleasure of playing the game.
Twitter user(@t_a_b_e_r_u) showed a video where a bug made the Pokémon trainer into a "titan" while riding the bike. Twitter user (@OoCPokemon) posted a video where the player was moving about on an invisible machine, something like a bike. Twitter user (@zfg111) used the Selfie Camera Mode to take a selfie, but her character would only show the same depressed face. Once outside of camera mode, her face remained in the depressed expression too. Because of the character's position and the terrain, a player entered a battle only to have their Fuecoco, unfortunately, sink into the water. By Twitter user (@Ari_yo_) Twitter user @manki3193manki posted a video where the MC steps on a Poké Ball while trying to capture a Pokémon, resulting in several Pokémon jumping out of the Poké Ball. Finally, a glitch broke the integrity of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s battle system.
Some players discovered that in PVP Pokémon battles, it seemed the devs used a fixed random number table, causing his attack to miss at a rate of 100%.
At the same time, some players used this clue to figure out how to ensure 100% accuracy when attacking targets.
Luckily, on December 1st, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Version 1.1.0 was launched, adding "Ranked Mode” and fixing some bugs, including the ‘random’ number table.
Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have apologized to players for the poor technical performance of the game and have promised to make further improvements.
