Good Ol' Classic Word Search
778 View2022-12-08As someone who is always on his iPad, I had nostalgia for playing this game because back then, I was playing word search in a newspaper. Now, on a present-day newspaper (the iPad), I get to play this game again. With a stylus, you get the full experience.
Like most word search games, each level has a different category of words to search for. The game also has different difficulties — easy, medium, and hard. Increasing the difficulty also increases the number of words in the box. Also, harder and longer words appear on higher difficulties. Words are placed vertically, horizontally, slanted, and reversed. You can play solo, or you can play with a friend in the 2-player mode, where you take turns looking for words. The 2-player mode's turn per player is timed, so it adds pressure and excitement to the game.
I just encountered a minor bug where the ad was covering the area where the letters are placed. I can't see some of the letters. But restarting the game fixed the problem.
In the single-player mode, after finishing 3 levels, you get to get new backgrounds so that your eyes wouldn't get bored with the same theme over and over again. It is a little nice touch. I am enticed to finish the levels because I would like to see the art of the next background. Overall, a nice, relaxing game. A good passage of time and a nice way to stimulate your brain cells.

This is an excellent, relaxing, and unique puzzle game. It combines the type of puzzle where you join letters placed around a circle with a path to form a word, with a crossword/Scrabble-like element where you link the words together to form a crossword grid that the adorable character uses to get to the objectives (food items). You're also limited to making 6 words total to complete the goal.
The experience is rounded out with a chill soundtrack, and cute sound design. Ads, however will take you right out of that chill vibe. Luckily, you can remove them by making a one time purchase of $5.99 (USD, may vary in other regions/currencies) which I did after paying the first ten levels and meeting my fist ad which felt pretty generous.

Great game for brain exercise
Here's another great game for those word geeks out there. Don't worry, you get to choose the level of difficulty when the game starts - easy, medium or hard. It helps you exercise your brain's flexibility with words.
This game is simple and fun. You can play it solo or you can play it with others (picking 2 players or Multiplayer). I love word-searching games and I even own some (books).
Every match has a category. You need to find the given words to win and proceed to the next match. You can also use a hint once for every match. Every three wins, a new background will be unlocked. You can change your background with the unlocked ones.

Wordscapes meets Scrabble in this engaging word puzzle game
SHOULD I PLAY MOLECANO?
Play this, especially if you’re looking for something casual. Molecano combines the puzzling gameplay of Wordscapes with the strategy of Scrabble to create a fresh and engaging puzzle game where I had to create words and use them to build bridges to find food. While the pesky ad breaks annoyed me after a while, Molecano offers all the fun needed to enjoy solving simple word puzzles on the fly.
