LoFi Space Cat... When I saw the title, I was hoping for some LoFi beats and a Cat in Space. And I was not disappointed.
Gameplay wise, You play as a cat thats inside a space ship who is blasting away various aliens to try to gain a high score. All while avoiding their own blaster shots so that you don't drop down on your health too much and die. All while listening to some LoFi beats at the same time. An odd mix if you ask me, but it somehow works.
It definitely calms me down when things get pretty intense if trying to not die. However the game isn't exactly that difficult either, especially since you can actually tap away from the enemies and your ship will go straight to where you tapped, as if teleporting. So you don't even need to drag your finger to move the cat away from fire, if you can you can just tap away. Which can help too since you need to tap furiously to even shoot back.
Visually this game is not bad, it's a pixel art game and the visuals are pretty decent, but it's still quit minimal overall. It should run fairly well on most modern phones.
Overall I'd say that LoFi Space Cat is an interesting yet fun game, but don't expect many game modes or difficulties. I feel like this game is meant to relax you more than anything else. Which is why they chose this type of music. But it is fun, so you should definitely try this one out.
