This game was created and developed by the same company that made Hyperlight Drifter! If you don't remember that game, it was one of the very memorable indie games of 2016!

Summary:

Set amidst a surreal dreamscape filled with long-abandoned ruins of great civilizations past, you play as Rei and a Voidrunner determined to stop at nothing to save her planet from falling prey to the Ultravoid's path of eternal hunger.

Fight through mobs of grotesque creatures, grind rails with sheer delight, grapple to wild heights, take down enormous bosses, and surf the ashen clouds of shattered, ancient worlds swallowed by the void.

The answer to these questions, and more, awaits you in the Ultravoid.

My Experience:

This version of the game is the Epic Games Store version of Solar Ashe; the steam release of Solar Ashe will be available on December 8th!

My experience with " Solar Ash " has been enjoyable, seeing these fantastic, surreal environments throughout the game, and seeing all the big bosses looking like eldritch creatures from Dark Souls or some other games.

Sometimes you must be patient with taking down the big boss enemies by hitting their weak points instead of rushing to defeat them. Other times I take the time to venture around the area I am in to listen to the audio logs and collect parts for a new suit.

What I like:

Smooth Movement across the clouded grounded

Eye Candy Environments

Boss Fights are very Epic

Interesting Story

Excellent Voice Acting and Music for the Environment

What I didn't like:

Collecting the Suit Parts was abit upsetting...

Sometimes trying to get yourself to stop in a particular area is abit tricky because you will slip off the platform.

Verdict

A fun game with fantastic dream-like environments, smooth and straightforward movements, and a great storyline. The heart machine developers did a great job creating this game, and I can't wait for their future games!

Their next game is called " Hyper Light Breaker," so keep an eye out for it!
