From what I have seen after playing this monster-taming game, I wonder if there are evolutions since this is a dragon quest game.
Summary:
Erik and his sister Mia live on a Viking longship, dreaming of the day they can explore the world in search of grand treasure. The adventure Erik and Mia have always dreamed of is finally underway! One night they encounter a pair of otherworldly creatures, Porcus and Purrsula. They have been whisked away to a mysterious place known as Draconia - a legendary land full of treasures just waiting to be discovered.

With the vast world of Draconia to explore and tons of tantalizing treasures to find, Erik, Mia, and their cute companions will need some help. The team soon befriends and recruits a veritable variety of well-mannered monsters. Using these monsters' magical visions of hidden treasure and their unique treasure-hunting abilities, our heroes will race over open fields, scale cliffs with a single bound, and glide over gaping chasms to locate loot in even the most fiendishly inaccessible spots!
Venture into a vast, varied world where twists, turns, and mysteries lie hidden on your path to discovering the legendary treasure of Draconia!
My Experience:
So I have played several games from the "Dragon Quest Series" such as:
Dragon Quest Builders
Dragon Quest XI
Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Dragon Quest VIII
So yea, I have played a decent collection of these.
I might need to go back and replay them again someday
but anyway!
This game has been entertaining: leveling up your monsters, hunting for treasure, finding good combinations of monsters to use, and more!
What I liked:
Alot of areas to explore, gaining new monsters to have on your team
Creatures from the history of Dragon Quest
New Adventure
30+ Hours of Gameplay
What I didn't like:
The English Voice Acting is abit rough
Pros and Cons of Dragon Quest Treasures
Pros:
Great Design
Great Visuals
Fun Gameplay
Good Story
YES, MORE MONSTER-TAMING GAMES!
Cons
English Voice acting is abit...meh

Verdict
Dragon Quest: Treasures is another good game for the Nintendo Switch; the voice acting is alittle bit...annoying
gameplay and everything else are excellent
So if you can ignore the lousy voice acting, you will enjoy this game.
Dragon Quest Treasures gets a score of " Do Recommend."

This game is as good as gold - Dragon Quest Treasures Quick Review
PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Please play it! I’m a lifelong Dragon Quest fan, sure, but I’m still shocked at just how good and original Dragon Quest Treasures turned out. This is the most unique spin on Dragon Quest in many years, and it’s a perfectly appealing adventure whether you’re a total newcomer to the series or a fellow hardcore player. TIME PLAYED I sunk five hours into Dragon Quest Treasures over the weekend, which got me through the early tutorial content, as well as the first major boss encounter and quests. By the end of that time, I had opened up access to travel to different islands and a half-dozen sidequests. I’m planning to spend a lot more time with the game over the holidays, as reportedly a completionist approach can take upwards of one hundred hours.

Dragon Quest Treasures (Switch) Review | Backlog Battle
In a time before Erik and Mia became part of Dragon Quest XI's story, they were kids amassing tons and tons of treasure! Dragon Quest Treasures is an addictive game, whether you play it in short bursts, or in long marathon sessions! And it'll give you a satisfying feeling that's different from other RPGs out there! Monster Hunter for kids!
Dragon Quest Treasures seems like an endearing little cartoon that combines easy-to-understand treasure hunting with streamlined RPG combat. It reminds me a bit of the Monster Hunter Stories series, which strips the complicated systems of Monster Hunter into a more easily legible game of rock/paper/scissors. And though I hope to see a little more complexity to its battles in the full release, I imagine it’ll be a fun way for parents to pass their love of Dragon Quest down to their kids.
