Playing this Pac-Man replica made me wish that I was actually playing Pac-Man. No, it's not because the story was inferior or didn't interest me, but playing on my iPhone 13 was sheer frustration.
Who doesn't love a good retro Pac-Man game? Grab the pellets, run from the ghost, and repeat. Well, that's the gameplay of Chainman, except the reaction speed made it seem that my Chainman was a second late for everything I wanted to do.
This meant Chainman had a mind of his own! I'd try and go left, only for Chainman to keep going straight and right into an enemy knight. Getting through a level is hard enough without the addition of delayed reaction speed.
Aside from that, the game could've been great! The graphics are fine, the music brought me back to the eighties, and I'll repeat... who the hell doesn't like Pac-Man? But, do yourself a favor if you play this one, do it on your computer on an emulator, or at the very least, get mentally prepared with the zen-like patience of a monk that goes into waiting for your Chainman to respond to simple commands.
Chainman is a retro game that is similar to the classic game Pac-Man.
Even though I am not from the era in which this game was popular and do not have a nostalgia for it, I still find it to be very enjoyable. The music and sound effects are well-done and give a sense of nostalgia for the time when these kinds of games were popular.
I highly recommend giving Chainman a try. It not only provides a sense of retro fun, but also offers endless challenges. I believe that once you start playing, you will quickly become a fan of this game.

Chainman - Gameplay Review | Kinda Nostalgic?
Chainman is a arcade adventure mobile game with lots of stages to clear with limited life bar. This game surely feels a lot like pacman. If you love pacman then give this game a try for a new change in skin and background music and theme.

Chainman - Worth Playing?
Chainman is an arcade type RPG mobile game. Right away, I could smell the whiff of pacman in this game. I just knew what to do and how to play the game and what every elements in the game meant. Instead of pacman, we have chainman in this game who looks like a knight with a sword.
The gameplay certainly didn't impress me due to the lack of its originality and lots of bugs! I believe that this game has lots of issues that needs to be fixed asap by the creator. There were many times where I could not make my chainman move the way I wanted him to. Sometimes, instead of going right, he would just go down! The graphics also is certainly not impressive as well for me. 2D graphics with unpolished pixel art is just plain.
