Merge Goddess: Royale Rush TD is SURPRISINGLY FUN!

Wow... What can I say about Merge Goddess: Royale Rush TD. This game, has some of the thickest and most gorgeous waifus in this Tower Defense Merge game and while that can't save a game if it's not good, I actually enjoyed this one.

Gameplay wise you just have to set up your team by summoning them onto the playing field of your area, and as long as you have enough gems, you can summon more.

you do not have to worry about placements like in other TD games, instead the game will place them for you. All you have to worry about is trying to get the same star and same character in order to merge them together so you can make stronger units.

All while trying to compete with another player which I feel for the most part are bots because they don't try very hard, at least when I played. After every match you also get a couple boxes which have new girls inside. I did manage to get an epic class girl from one of these, so that was nice.

Visually this game is pretty simple while in the matches itself, however the artwork is gorgeous. I love the art for the anime girls. They look so good. Overall I'd say that Merge Goddess: Royale Rush TD is a fun game, I actually enjoyed it. I'm not usually a TD type of person, but this one is okay for me.

Merge Goddess: Royal Rush TD - A simple Tower Defense Merge Game FULL OF WAIFUS

Merge Goddess is an interesting game, at first I thought this was some form of anime chess game, but no it's not at all, It's an anime type game with Tower Defense elements combined with merging characters to make stronger units. It felt very fast paced, and you didn't have to worry about character placements. The game will spawn your characters randomly within your area and you just have to spawn as many as you can with the steady supply of gem currency you get in the game.

Busty anime ladies can't salvage this mediocre game. Even as someone who enjoys merge games and tower defense games, I rolled my eyes when I saw how Merge Goddess follows the exact same formula as every other one of these. If it could pull that formula off, it would at least be competent, but no such luck. The waifu-wannabes who serve as this game's version of "towers" are hard to tell apart from the pulled-back camera angle that matches are played on. I appreciated that I was able to unlock a lot of different "tower" types relatively quickly, but the strategy here felt paper-thin.
