Chainman - Quick Game Review!

Chainman is an arcade adventure mobile game with lots of challenging stages. This game was quite nostalgic for me as it has a lot of uncanny similarities with Pacman. Its just that the pacman is replaced by a chainman guy (knight in armor).
Looking into the gameplay, you will be the chainman who will be trying to collect all the white gems (pearls?!) in the map. Once you have collected all the gems, you will be able to clear the current stage and advance to the next stage. As easy it may sound, its not easy to clear the stage. You will have to also keep yourself at a safe distance from 4 ghost-like monsters. If they touch you, you die. But sometimes, while collecting pearls, you may also pick up a large potion bottle which will allow you to be able to kill those monsters instead upon contact. So just run away or run after the ghost as the situation demands and just time the movements right, and you will be able to excel in the game.
As smooth as the game mechanics sounds, the gameplay was definitely not smooth at all for me. I encountered a lot of situations where my chainman wouldn't go where I asked him to go and sometimes, my chainman would just go different way against my input command. The game surely is frustrating when the controls don't work nicely for me. I think the developer still needs to debug this game first.
The graphics is certainly on 2D platform and its definitely not that visually attractive as we have old-style pixel type graphics. For a recent game, it certainly is a huge disappointment for me. The background music has a nostalgic arcade gaming vibe in it. The sound played upon death of the main characters seems to be quite similar to Mario as well.
Overall, this game is not that recommendable right now as this game needs more polishing and debugging. The controls immediately needs the fix. I would have appreciated a bit more intriguing storyline for the main protagonist in the game. Every next stage looks pretty same to me, which is really boring. Chainman - Worth Playing?
Chainman is an arcade type RPG mobile game. Right away, I could smell the whiff of pacman in this game. I just knew what to do and how to play the game and what every elements in the game meant. Instead of pacman, we have chainman in this game who looks like a knight with a sword.
The gameplay certainly didn't impress me due to the lack of its originality and lots of bugs! I believe that this game has lots of issues that needs to be fixed asap by the creator. There were many times where I could not make my chainman move the way I wanted him to. Sometimes, instead of going right, he would just go down! The graphics also is certainly not impressive as well for me. 2D graphics with unpolished pixel art is just plain.

Chainman - Gameplay Review | Kinda Nostalgic?
Chainman is a arcade adventure mobile game with lots of stages to clear with limited life bar. This game surely feels a lot like pacman. If you love pacman then give this game a try for a new change in skin and background music and theme.

Chainman is a retro game that is similar to the classic game Pac-Man.
Even though I am not from the era in which this game was popular and do not have a nostalgia for it, I still find it to be very enjoyable. The music and sound effects are well-done and give a sense of nostalgia for the time when these kinds of games were popular.
I highly recommend giving Chainman a try. It not only provides a sense of retro fun, but also offers endless challenges. I believe that once you start playing, you will quickly become a fan of this game.
