This Rogue like RPG does what most popular RPG/Platformer/2D games do and does them perfectly. This  game feels a lot like the popular indie Platformer/RPG game "Hollow Knight." Dead Cells progresses in a sub linear path, exploring the wide and infected land of Dead Cells. In your journey you will find many wanderers that will help you in your path to free the land from the "Malaise". You collect cells which is used to upgrade your character permanently, but be careful because if you die you will drop all cells stored on your character so don't be shy and spend your cells to "The Collector" and upgrade your character, unlock and find new weapons and skills. You will also unlock more abilities from prisoners scattered across the early levels that will help you on your journey.

If you never played Dead Cells you are missing out a lot! I was one of those people, and I am glad that I gave it a go, even though Metroidvania isnt my favorite kind of games. This is a masterpiece like no other and everyone should play it just to know how perfect roguelike game feels like. Gameplay You play as some parasite organism that takes over dead body and uses it in order to move through the dungeon. Tutorial is very short showing you just some basic things, and then you are being thrown straight into action.
