Paranormal Cryptid Lovers is an Otome Game where you find actual handsome cryptid men in a small town and I guess... Fall for them? Gameplay wise this game plays like a visual novel, you can either tap to progress the story, or let the auto play feature do it for you, though I find the timing to be a bit too fast, sometimes I can't keep up with how fast the text is changing.
You have multiple choice moments in the game where you can pick to hang out with someone or go home, or to choose something else, which will change the course of the story you experience.
However as you progress you will find some paths locked behind gem costs. And since you only have 30 gems for free, it's very hard to play this game for free and choose varying paths.
Visually this game is okay. The art isn't so bad, and the layouts are pretty average. Nothing special really. Overall I'd say that Paranormal Cryptid is a game that wants you to spend your money if you want the best choices to choose from. And to also spend even more money once you run out of tickets to unlock new chapters.
This game isn't free to play at all, if you want to be free to play on this game, you will be picking very boring choices and probably get a mediocre ending if you make it that far. Definite pass on this one.

Paranormal Cryptid Lovers... Okay so aside from the kind of basic layout, the game is not so bad... The story was starting to get interesting and I did enjoy the music for the most part, though some of it did have a pretty obvious loop cut.
However. The game is heavily trying to get you to spend money. You have limited free tickets to progress through chapters, and some choices are locked behind gem spending. And these gem expenses are pretty expensive, especially considering I only have 30 gems free. More gems are from the cash shop... So you will have to spend to complete the story. This is where I quit the game. It's just not worth it.

A story that I could match with the Twilight saga, but with other creatures.
It was boring at first until I got hooked on the storyline as it progressed. A girl is on a vacation with his uncle who takes her to work but little did she know the twists lying underneath the town. Encountering cryptids is one thing but having to pay just to get the juicy parts of the story is somewhat of a total bummer. Overall, the story is great. I just wished the ads could reward some gems to get the most out of the game.
