We’re Tiny Magicians, a small indie studio making Outbreak Island, an open-world sandbox survival horror game. The game is still in development, but quite a lot has been done already, so we believe now is the perfect time to introduce it to you!

In Outbreak Island, you arrive on an Island for investigation. Some mysterious events occurred on it, and most of the Island’s population disappeared without a trace, while the rest have undergone irreversible changes in the course of mutation. As you may have guessed, the investigation don’t go quite as planned, and now you have to survive in the brutal wilderness of the Island full of bloodthirsty monsters.
One of the game’s key features is actually an Outbreak itself. Each night, the outbreak of radioactive energy paints the sky in an ominous green color, turning the Island's electricity on. This allows you to use the remaining infrastructure of the Island, build shelters and set up resource production in factories and sawmills. At the same time, this outbreak awakens monsters otherwise hiding in their lairs, so your most efficient time will be the most dangerous as well. The night also gives you access to multi-level underground dungeon-labs, where you can stock up on some valuable loot.
Once a week, a mysterious Surge takes place on the Island: with sirens howling, the Outbreak turns the color of blood and hordes of monsters head for your territory to cause trouble. You’ll have to build and fortify your own base to withstand the attack of uninvited guests. It’s a challenging, yet achievable task: after all, you’ll have several weapons, booby traps and even turrets at your disposal.
Monsters are not the only threat to your life that you’re going to deal with - hunger and thirst can also kill you. The food resources on the Island are scarce, so you’ll eventually have to plant and tend crops, pick berries and herbs in the forest, and hunt wild animals in order to stay alive. Combine ingredients into various culinary recipes that you’ll be discovering on your own, and provide yourself with everything you need to survive for a long time. The resources are scattered all over the Island - you have a fully open world of 20km² to explore, which you can travel around by vehicle.

The game looks really fun with an interesting concept to add to as well! I just wonder, in the future will there be a mobile version? I would love to play this game but i cannot afford a decent PC/Laptop
