Today we’d like to tell you a bit about our upcoming title Quasimorphosis.

Quasimorphosis is a dark roguelike RPG. Far into the future, the space itself gets privatized. Corporations actively seize control of the Solar System, and there is only one thing still honored: Dignitas. Honor and trust are everything.

But that doesn’t mean strife has come to an end. Instead, wars are waged through PMCs - Private Military Companies. You work for a company of veteran operatives, fighting for money. Throughout your missions, you observe weird sickness plaguing space stations around the Solar System: crew members fall ill of an unknown disease, and rifts open the way for creatures from a parallel dimension. Your duty is to uncover the truth and find out the unforgivable things humanity has committed in the dark depths of space, all the while earning your buck shooting stuff.

Travel throughout the Solar system aboard the ship belonging to your PMC group and discover planetary bases, secret labs, spaceship wreckage, and other points of interest. Your curiosity will be rewarded with new technology, augmentations, and many other things to even the odds in a tough fight. And fights in Quasimorphosis are action-packed and tough: be prepared for an ever-shifting battleground, hazardous effects to avoid, and enemies that require a unique approach. Consumables, the gear that you need to maintain, and your own tactical acumen will come in handy during every mission.

The world of Quasimorphosis constantly changes: As the Earth spins around the Sun, so do the politics and combat. Corporations will extend their reach, the conflict will brew, your reputation with factions will constantly change depending on your choices, and your enemies will always find a way to surprise you.

Finally, there’s also a curious cloning mechanic in the game. Every mission is a dance with death, and PMC operators are the most valuable assets for many. To preserve their skill (and yours!), every veteran fighter’s brain data and psyche are stored on a data disk and copied on a clone at the moment of death. You’d better keep looking for these rare items, as they will greatly aid you in battle.
