Ok where to start ...

Retro coolness ☑️

Cool main character ☑️

Responsiveness and Virtual button layout are 🤔 ....well it seems folks want you to play this almost crab style, every now and then it is difficult to pull off new combos that you know you could do if the responsiveness worked right at the moment .

But that's the problems with most games you can never ever have what we think is perfect ...the leveling in the game or pacing or even both is good . I noticed that everything is very Castlevania/Metroid ..😁

All in all grab it give it a try ...

And as usual nope I haven't made a donation to the dev team yet ..

I figure ill play a bit longer and just wait for something cosmetic as usual.

My honest hot take

Game is extremely fun I cannot lie. Game has great gameplay, yet it needs a lot more optimizations to feel less rushed. Game has massive loading times between switching to different levels which I have been trying to load one for 5+ mins. Game feels unsmooth a lot of the times especially summoning/recruiting nother characters even though I have done it many times. Of course there will be bugs such as the camera flying up and letting you see underneath skirts 🥵 and unable to see hitboxes.

🎮 Gameplay: 5/5 📖 Storyline: 5/5 🕹️ Controls: 5/5 Since it's on early access, expect some bugs and unoptimized but still good. The game did some justice to the original source material (no hate on the anime adaptation, it just feels lacking a little bit but still good). The game is kinda "grindy" and with a gacha system. Would recommend waiting for the global release. Kudos to the devs 💪💪
