Shadow Force: Glitchworld could be decent if it wasn’t such a snoozefest. I’m always interested in a classic platformer to entertain myself, but Shadow Force: Glitchworld made me wish time would go faster so I didn’t need to play it anymore. The only reason I played the game for an hour was to see if it was good and write this very short review and even so, playing was pure torture.
In this retro platformer, there are really only four main mechanics: moving forward and backward, jumping, and killing monsters. The objective is to stay alive to secure points that accumulate over time, which count toward a high score. To do this, I had to jump from one platform to another while slaying monsters using a ranged attack. If I fell off a platform or touched a monster, I’d die and end my run. I had to move fast too, as the screen automatically shifts to the side during runs and would push me off a platform if I wasn’t careful.

For the first ten to twenty minutes, Shadow Force: Glitchworld had my attention. It was only after did it start feeling repetitive and boring. I began reaching higher scores and beating those and then doing the same thing over and over again. It slowly became less rewarding and enjoyable. Eventually, I reached a point at around thirty minutes into Shadow Force: Glitchworld where I just didn’t want to play the game anymore. It just became so mind-numbingly repetitive that there wasn’t anything interesting to keep me entertained.
I probably wouldn’t have felt this way if maybe there were more monsters that did various things or some other mechanics to change the game’s rhythm to make it more challenging. Maybe Shadow Force: Glitchworld might receive these features in the future. However, from what I’ve currently played, the game’s not worth playing for more than fifteen minutes.

Shadow Force: Glitchworld | Gameplay Review | Very Hard RPG!
Shadow Force: Glitchworld is a super challenging parodic retro-platformer RPG adventure mobile game. I have to admit that this game is really hard. All you have to do in this game is to survive with your perfect timing jumps and good use of skills. OR else, you will die pretty fast! There is only singular stage in this game which will keep on getting more and more challenging as the time passes by.

It is ok fun if there is nothing better to play. But nothing here is going to win game of the year or even be memorable but that is most of the glitch games games. Just a very average game company. Like this game not bad but there are better games you could be play with your time.
