Disclaimer: I'll be reviewing this game from a casual gamer stand point, thanks.
TLDR; Perfect game to log in once a day to collect daily rewards. The missions aren't too difficult to complete even if you choose not to hoard materials on a daily basis.
Graphics:
5/5 - What a treat! The 2D anime-style character designs are phenomenal, their outfits are very well designed. The characters' transformations are really cool, for a lack of a better word:
However, the 3D models are pretty controversial (some say it's bad), but I think it's alright. Don't just take my word for it, even my friend says although she likes it, the 3D models are not of her cup of tea:
Anyways, look at my favorite characters!! --
Gameplay:
3/5 - no blitz for story and emblem dungeons, it's only available for challenge missions such as EXP dungeon, etc. Most of the game can be autoplayed, but the mobs of similar levels [to you] requires strategic p at times. Since it's a waifu-collector game, similar to its competitors of the same genre, it lacks social interactions to play with friends. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there isn't a group co-op dungeon where your skill matters. This game plays just like a singleplayer game but with a chat box hanging around in the corner.
(There are also other modes like the Memoir that lets you play as particular characters on a grid.)
Lore:
4/5 - Nothing too deep, it's a pretty nice read. Imo, the lore is very Chuunibyou-esque*, the characters are all burdened with their delieammas in saving or corrupting the world. If you're into hot-blooded shounen plots, this might be the one for you. Personally, I'm not much of a lore reader for card-collecting games, but Chapter 4 got me hooked and I almost teared up reading Leviathan's story.
(D'awww, she said I'm her friend! That warms my heart. I don't regret saving you, Leviathan ovo!!)
(Yes, this game has choices. The characters would react to whatever choices you've made in the conversation... But your choices DON'T matter, other than the sweet avatars and peronas you unlock that is.)
(Thanks for telling me I'm both irrational and romantic!)
VERDICT
Recommendation for Casuals?: YUP!
Recommendation for Hardcore Players?: Maybe.
× It's still P2W given that the store sells energy and recruitment tickets, you have no chance to grind your way up top. Your team is gonna be weak against the VIP players, but at least you could slowly tackle your story missions, as long as you're okay with getting stuck between the levels from time to time.
Recommendation for English Speakers?: No.
× There is no English version yet. But if you just wanna collect waifus and listen to the audio clips from your favorite VAs, then sure. Give it a go.
Word of advice? Turn down the graphics if you have a toaster as your phone (like mine), or it'd overheat and eats away your battery even if you're connected to a charger.

*Note: Chunnibyou - A Japanese slang term which roughly translates to "Middle School 2nd Year Syndrome". People with chuunibyou either act like a know-it-all adult and look down on real ones, or believe they have special powers unlike others (thanks, Urban Dictionary!). Looking for gift codes? Look no further, check out the Bilibili Wiki (CN). Redeem in game for freebies.
