Hi there, hello. It's me again. I'm here to bring you a guide on tackling story missions in this game, since I noticed there isn't one, at least no English guides (yet).
Well, hello there, Ruth.
Disclaimer: This guide will tackle the most basic of the basics, suitable for f2p players. Enjoy.
Team Setup
Choose your leader based on the leader buff that seems most beneficial to you against the particular enemies. I don't think there is much difference for f2p players as long as they're all the same level.
Ruth (the girl with pink hair) is expandable depending on what's on your hand. I find a healer to be an excellent addition to my team. In general, I wouldn't recommend a full gold team because they're very demanding in terms of collecting the sufficient character fragments to upgrade each one of them.
The two chracters above are also very f2p friendly to replace Ruth. Knell [the guy with white hair and hot tatts] is a nice DPS, while Luna is a nice healer. In addition, Luna also function well in combination with Laura Emilia (see below).
Character Upgrades
You can obtain EXP beverages from story missions, but the EXP dungeon gives out more resources. Once your character have reached a level gauge, you would need to expand their levels through upgrades.
The level upgrade screen is shaped like a DNA strand. By upgrading the left side, it expands the fharacter's level; the right side unlock leadership skills and bonus stats upgrades. Each of the node requires the character's elemental cubes that could be found in the resource dungeons.
Emblem Guide
For emblems, a pair of 2 pieces is half a set, and 4 pieces make one whole set. To keep things simple, I'll solely talk about emblems in a whole set.
Imo, Ludwig works best with the Timeless series. This set allows him to trigger the same attack for the second time at a 25% probability rate by increasing his movement speed by 100. If you're extra lucky, he would be able to turn the tide of the battle by attacking multiple times in one go!!
This series has a 30% chance to increase his burning debuff to last one more round.
For my dear Ruth, I have two sets for her. The first one, Flowers in the Wind is a healing set that summons a shield for her healing target that could absorb 30% of damages.
This is my "Dark Healer" set called Intertwined. It deflects 30% of incoming damages. Since I use this set less frequently as the previous one.
Fate Guide
There is nothing much to be said about Fate, as long as you balances out your attack and defense levels. The only thing that truly matters here is if you've pulled a tarot that belongs to the specific character in your team from the tarot gacha.
For example, here is Ruth's tarot. It basically adds +20 movement speed for the whole team after she had triggered her 2nd phase.

thanks for the guide. I really love the character design.. but I feel like the gameplay is a little bit boring.
