PLAY IT OR SKIP IT?
Play this game! James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe are thrown into a sinister time loop where you’ve got twelve minutes to either solve the mystery or relive the events over and over. If that doesn’t sell you on its own, I don’t know what to say! There were moments where the gameplay of Twelve Minutes felt clunky, but the story and voice acting were all superb and kept me on edge.
TIME PLAYED
So far, I’ve spent two hours on this game and still haven't managed to break the time loop. With each new loop, I gain different perspectives, and another piece of the story is revealed. I intend to break the loop and hopefully stop a murderous police officer from strangling or beating my in-game wife and me to death.
WHAT'S AWESOME
• The story. The narrative and interactive choices here are fantastic. With each new loop, my choices had clear consequences. The outcome of each loop felt properly affected by what I’d learned in previous loops or what I chose to hide (or reveal) to my wife. This game really made me feel like I was part of an intense thriller movie.
• The voice acting. Naturally, with star power like McAvoy, Dafoe, and Ridley, you will get quality performances. Still, the intensity of some of the line delivery adds to the intrigue. It got me invested in seeing how the story played out and what would happen to these people.

WHAT SUCKS
Repetition. Seeing as you have twelve minutes until the clock runs out and the loop repeats, some aspects, like bringing the wife up to speed, can get repetitive.
• Clunky gameplay. While playing on my iPhone 13, some aspects of this point-and-click adventure felt awkward. Sometimes I tried swiping and dragging a puzzle item in Twelve Minutes, only to swipe out of the app accidentally. This brought me out of the experience (literally and figuratively).

12 Minutes - A Riveting Time-loop Thriller Unfolding in a Compact Universe
In the captivating realm of interactive storytelling, "12 Minutes" by Luis Antonio stands out as a unique and intense experience. This time-loop thriller challenges players to navigate a gripping narrative within a confined space, blending intricate puzzles with a mind-bending story that unfolds over the span of 12 minutes. Visually, "12 Minutes" captures the intimacy of its premise. The confined apartment setting becomes a microcosm of suspense, each room holding secrets waiting to be unraveled. The attention to detail in character animations and the subtle changes in the environment contribute to the game's atmospheric tension.

A self-aware narratively focused murder mystery game | First Impressions - Murders on Budapest
Just fresh from my review of another fourth wall breaking mystery game, now we have another mobile game in Murders of Budapest. This time it’s less of a detective point-and-click mystery and more of a murder mystery visual-novel this time around. Murders of Budapest is a fairly simplistic game. No deep mechanics, no over complicated puzzles. It’s more of an interactive adventure story with some mini-games every now and then to spice up the gameplay. As for the presentation, the characters have cartoonish looks and the game is presented in cartoon-style visuals.

Movies Are Awesome, Until You Have To Play Them – I Saw Black Clouds Review
I Saw Black Clouds is an interactive psychological thriller that combines investigation, horror, and the paranormal. This is not publisher Wales Interactive’s first venture into the interactive film realm, as they also gave us Late Shift, The Complex, The Bunker, and Five Dates. This new game was developed by Ghost Dog Films (Crucible of the Vampire and The Singing Bird Will Come), and it boasts a rather intriguing cast of Larry Rew (Underworld 3), Nicole O'Neill (Penny Dreadful), and Rachel Jackson (Outlander). And that’s all well and good, but is it enough to make
