Square Farm is available on both Steam (PC) and mobile. The game is a pay to play with an initial cost of $3.49 UDS but it is well worth it. I suggest the steam version because the aspect of the screen is better. The mobile version is played in vertical aspect which I personally hate. The game has you playing as a new farmer. The main object is to plant crops and match them up in different groups in order to harvest them and make money. You then use the money to build up your land by either constructing new buildings or buying new items to assist you in harvesting. The game is simple buy becomes more challenging as you unlock different vegetables to plant. The vegetables each have different difficulties.  Some crops will be given to you in a simple format making it easier to create matches while others may be more complex. The game also features different seasons and depending on the season certain crops can yield you more money.

The audio is great and has a very chill and relaxing vibe to it. The sound effects are subtle but there. Occasionally you will also have villagers visit you and see the story play out. It's honestly a great game and I have no real complaints about it. I do slightly wish there was a way to rotate the crops to make them fit better, but I understand that may make the game too easy. The other problem is that its core gameplay is a puzzle style which not everyone enjoys. It's a niche game that caters to those that love puzzle games with a little building element to it. Square Farm is definitely worth buying if you enjoy puzzles with a nice challenge to them. The game is never dull and always interesting because you constantly introduced to new things.

Square Farm - An ABSOLUTELY FUN Experience!
Square Farm is a premium mobile game that reminded me of those match 3 games but with farming instead, but it also let you sell your crops so you could buy upgrades for your farm, like fertilizer and a watering can, and also to build a shed among other things. You could also go into town and mingle with the locals which I thought was a nice touch. The game also gave me a bit of Stardew Valley vibes but doesn't try to copy it which is good. Honestly I really enjoyed this game. I couldn't put it down. I wanted to try complete the first season tasks, but unfortunately only got 3 of them completed before the season ended. I am really enjoying this game. I think it's totally worth the cost.

Square Farm is SUPER CUTE and I LOVE IT!!!
Square Farm is full of heart and a really cute game. I never once felt bored and the game was just a pleasure to play. Gameplay wise you have to try and fit all the different vegetables on the farm, in order to get the most grown crops as possible. You can save up your money to build a shed which has upgrades there like fertilizer and the watering can for example. You can also hang out with the locals in the town square. And give them flowers to increase their friendship with you.

Square Farm provides a peaceful and charming experience to farm produce while building up a lowly farmstead. Even if you don’t love farming games as much as I do, it’s a must-try for anyone that enjoys casual and fulfilling gameplay. After playing an hour and a half of Square Farm, I’m still tending to crops and picking out virtual tomatoes. It’s just that addictive. Square Farm’s relatively straightforward and easy to understand from the get-go. From what I’ve played, there are really only four things I needed to pay attention to: farming crops to sell for money, using that money to upgrade the farmstead, interacting with villagers, and completing side missions.
