Diablo IV is probably one of my most awaited games of all time and possibly my most wanted game of 2023. Diablo 3 released last 2012, making it an 11 year long wait for fourth installment.
Despite some negative feedbacks to Diablo 3 and its developer, Blizzard, it still picked itself up through the years with a constant barrage of updates and improvements. Ultimately resulting into a great addicting game that we have today, available even for consoles like the Nintendo Switch.
I've played Diablo III a ton since it's release and I can't wait for the follow-up. I've tried playing every alternative out there; Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, Torchlight, even Diablo Immortal and the recent Diablo II: Resurrected --- Nothing quite matched the explosive kinetic combat and the addicting gameplay loop that Diablo III offered.
I'm hoping Diablo IV improves upon the best things in Diablo 3 and becomes a worthy successor to both Diablo III and Diablo 1/2. It is scheduled for release on June 6, 2023, hopefully no more delays!
