Rocco's Island may be the best match-three game I've ever played.
Most match-three games follow the Candy Crush formula: They're all about flooding players with hundreds of puzzles which increase in difficulty and thus push those players to buy microtransactions to help them make progress. Rocco's Island couldn't be further from this.
This game plays more like an adventure title, with gorgeous hand-drawn art, simple exploration, and even puzzles to solve. As I progressed through the titular island, I encountered giant stones that blocked my path. And each of these stones required playing a round of classic match-three gameplay to keep going.
I've always loved match-three gameplay as a way to chill out and relax, but the way Rocco's Island uses these mechanics works so much better than in most games. They're basically a cozy break between more traditional point-and-click adventuring and exploration.
Best of all, you can try Rocco's Island's first section for free, with the full thirty-plus hour game costing a mere $4.99. Many players may not be used to paying for a match-three game but it's really worth it here, and it means you get to avoid all that microtransaction junk we usually get in these games. I'm all for that!

Rocco’s Island is a series of adventures which will be followed by a series of puzzles and riddles that must be solved in the match-three game. First, there is Evelyn, a young girl who is lost on a secret island with puzzles and must engage with a variety of strange and intriguing personalities. Evelyn is initially depicted as being comatose and resting in a bay of water. It appears that she has lost some of her memories, and she must now gather items in order to jog her memory. As she recalls it, it becomes clear that she had a difficult past filled with bullying, but she still goes on with her life.

Rocco's Island is a Match-3 RPG adventure mobile game with lots of puzzles and amazing storyline! This game surely will take you to a mesmerizing adventure where you have to solve lots of match-3 puzzles to progress through the game. Graphics and Sounds are pretty well tuned and nicely presented.

ROCCO'S ISLAND: WORTH PLAYING!
Rocco's Island is a wonderfully entertaining adventure game with an intriguing scenario that will keep you entertained. It will be quite simple for you if you know how to play Candy Crush. The game is around a girl named Evelyn completing a quest using a three match puzzle game and how she interacts with other characters who can assist her. There are some puzzles along the route as well, but they are really simple to solve and entertaining as well.
