Sands of Salzaar have a very unique gameplay for the mobile game, it have a lot to offer to the players, but there are some bad things about it, and they might break it for you. In this article we will talk about both good and bad sides of Sands of Salzaar so you can decide if this is the right game for you.
PROS:
1. Open World adventure. While Sands of Salzaar is a Strategy game, it have a lot of RPG elements in it. And the fact that you can roam map freely ads a lot to the immersion and options that you can go for.  Go for the main quest, side quest or just roam the map and build your army, choice is yours.

2.  Vast Skill trees. If you love skill trees Sands of Salzaar have plenty to sate your needs. Skills, Talents, troop development each have their own skill trees.

4. No Microtransactions. You just buy the game and then play it. No paywalls, battlepasses, offers and other p2w crap. Just pure gameplay.

5. Fun progression mechanics. You can hire heroes to your team, equip them and lvl them up. You can hire troops of different factions to your army and as they lvl up they can change to a different type of troops. Overall this progression mechanics of mixing and matching units is very enjoyable.

CONS:
1. Huge amount of Bugs. At the current state game crashed from time to time, can switch to other language without option to change it back and so on.
TapTap
2. Grind is real. In order to progress you will have to fight a lot of fights, and some of them gets repetitive. You will need to clear a lot of resource camps to upgrade your troops, farm gear and just fight weak enemies for the loot.
TapTap
3. Lack of different arenas. Overall there are 3 arenas: 1 for normal fights, 1 for hero only fights and 1 MOBA style arena for sieges. Problem is that each fight have exactly the same landscape, so it lacks variety.

Verdict
Overall with all Pros and Cons considered Sands of Salzaar is a mixed game. On the one hand I really enjoyed playing it and want to play more, on another hand crashes and bugs are pushing me away. It will be really fun game when the bugs will be fixed though, especially since its a single-player offline game that you can play without internet.

Sands of Salzaar _ This is a fantastical tale of an exotic land. The Old Empire has fallen, leaving rival tribes to fight for control of the great desert. Little do they know of the seeds of darkness which grow in the shadows with each passing day... Sands of Salzaar is an open-world strategy-action RPG set across a sprawling desert. Build up and manage your forces from a single unit to a mighty army, then lead them into massive battles against your foes. How you progress is up to you: customize your hero with a wide variety of skills and talents, choose which factions to side with, and plan your strategies carefully to establish yourself as whoever you aspire to be - a lone wolf, a wealthy trader, a city lord, or a war schemer.

A unique strategy game
Pros Reminds me a bit of old school strategy games It has a campaign, training so you learn the ropes and unlock new units, spells and when you feel ready battle, arena and PVP 2x2, 3x3 You play with both sides light and dark Battle pass has some nice rewards and the cost is 100 crystals and if you finish it you get 130 crystals Animations and graphics are alright Cons Ping most of the time150+ Heroes, units, buildings and scrolls all have cards for us to collect so a bit of grind plus they need gear as well .

👍 Pros: One of the best mmorpgs out there, massive world to explore, tons of classes to get into and to change if you’re bored, lots of ingame features, single- and multiplayer. 👎 Cons: You don’t necessarily need to play in a group/game and can very well play it single player if you don’t want to socialize. Which however also means that even while there are guild events and features, you won’t necessarily socialize as much as in other mmos, where the communication with other players is a must to do your dailies etc.
