1K View2023-01-20Surely the biggest positive point of this game are its graphics and the care in the little that was done.
"Small" because it only has 5 cars available for purchase, it doesn't have multiplayer (what a sin!) and the races are with a maximum of one bot.
In customization, the conversation is different. Here are more vehicle mods than in NFS Underground 2. Wow!!
The map, although small, is spectacular, full of details and with high resolution. The shadows, the track lights and the car's headlight created a good immersion in the environment. It has great textures and precise controls.
Gameplay is also good but needs a sense of speed when using nitro.
It lacks basic features like pausing the match (after all, you're not in a PVP), camera adjustment, races with more cars and, of course, PVP.
In 2023 a game like this without PVP is a sin! Even if it's in the beginning, it doesn't mean there will be a PVP in the future! I actually don't believe he will, hence my 4 stars.
It's a great game that recalls graphics from PS2 single player games like NFS Carbon and the aggressive soundtrack from NFS Monst Wanted. It has no campaign, just racing sessions that upon completion reward xp, gold and release customizations for purchase.
But honestly, I don't need a campaign here, I just think that after a certain level new maps could be unlocked, in the form of districts, since the initial map has no variety in its landscape, it's just an industrial zone and that's all what you will see. How about another paradisiacal neighborhood full of palm trees like Los Angeles and another one full of lights like Las Vegas? Write down the suggestion there developer! 🤓
What will keep you playing is the curiosity of what comes next. But what if nothing new comes? Knowing that there are currently only 5 cars that you will need to play A LOT to have enough gold to buy, the repetition of the scenario and the races against a single bot can make you give up before you even get the last vehicle. Without PVP, all repetition becomes meaningless to me. Let's see what happens to this beautiful game over time.
Despite my considerations, it's a great SINGLE PLAYER game, I really recommend it!
