[LoL: Wild Rift] Regional Closed Beta: Basic Requirements, Five New Skins, Six New Champions, & More

League of Legends: Wild Riftis launching its first regional closed beta in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand starting September 16(today).

Riot Games announced that the regional beta test will be rolling out to each region over time and adding waves of players throughout the Closed Beta. Players are invited randomly from the aforementioned regions for the beta who pre-registered for the game on the Google Play Store.

The official Schedule has been revealed today and the Indonesia Beta Test(start from Sep.16) is only available for a very small number of inviters. For the players in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, the scheduled release time is on September 18. However, in early October, this extended Closed Beta will pause for a few days and noticed the accounts will be fully reset at that time.

The main focus of this test is centered on the core gameplay system, which contains upgrades to progression, leveling, and ongoing balance. For those changes taken place in the last couple of months, you can find more details through theClosed Beta Balance Patch Notes

Although the regional closed beta is temporarily only available for Android devices, the official is calling for more iOS players to sign up for their future tests through the Wild Rift website and a small test on iOS is prepared alongside the Closed Beta. For those players who are selected, they will receive an email with further instructions.

[/b]There are five new skins that have been brought to the Rift for Closed Beta: Spellthief Lux, Marauder Ashe, Rogue Admiral Garen, Boom Boom Blitzcrank, and Worldbreaker Nasus. They’re available now to help you kick off the playtest in style!

[/b]Riot Games is adding six new champions, to be ported to the mobile clone as part of the Closed Beta: Dr. Mundo, Sona, Jarvan IV, Singed, Varus, and Amumu. Now Hit the Rift with one of six new champions!

Most of these new champions aren’t incredibly mechanically intensive, they don’t have button-mashing combos that could be difficult to execute on a phone.
