Important Things to Know about 9/18 LoL: Wild Rift Beta Test in SEA Regions

closed beta test started in Indonesia yesterday. From September 18, it will continue to roll out in other SEA regions, including Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

It will be exciting to see all the new things added to this beta test:

• 6 New Champions - Sona, Singed, Varus, Jarvan IV, Dr. Mundo and Amumu

• 300 new cosmetics, including skins, stickers and recalls

• A ranked mode that can be tackled as a solo player and with friends

• A new emerald rank

• New camera & control features that allow you to customize your Wild Rift experience

Meanwhile, it is also important to learn about the following things regarding this test!

Given that the team is still testing the stability of the systems, Ranked Mode will be temporarily disabled in the first two days of the test (September 16 to September 17).

At 09:00 (PHT) on September 18, Ranked Mode will come online again and last through until the end of the test.

[/b]At the beginning of October, the team will be fully resetting all accounts.

Don’t worry! Not only will your Wild Cores be returned after the reset, but you’ll receive an additional 20% boost! That’s 120% of the Wild Cores you purchased! Think of it as a small token of gratitude for all your help.

WHAT ABOUT MY PROGRESS?[/b]

Dropping back to level one, losing your champ pool… No question about it, resets are rough.

But think about it this way: when you start a match in Wild Rift, everybody’s on perfectly equal footing. Same levels, same Gold. A reset allows us to recreate that fairness for all the players entering the Closed Beta for the first time. And remember! Just like the Rift, your performance is not based on all the loot you’ve accrued, but on your experience—and there’s no resetting that.

It’s also worth mentioning that not everything will reset.

Your friend list, chat history, custom item loadouts, and other settings/permissions will remain untouched!

Easy Cores, right? But the moment you give them what they want, they disappear, leaving you with no Wild Cores AND no account!

RANK BOOSTING?

Whether out of frustration or laziness, some people ask others to play ranked games for them in order to climb the ladder. Not only is this poor sportsmanship, but it violates our Terms of Use.
